
This jump was due to revenues in favor of the Ministry of Finance, by €49.10 million. These include budgetary support provided by the French Development Agency (€45 million), loans and grants for investment projects (€3.15 million), and aid provided by the International Development Association (€0.95 million).
The situation was also affected by net inflows related to the mandatory foreign exchange reserves of licensed banks (€13.58 million), income from the management of foreign exchange reserves (€12.64 million), and net inflows to the accounts of the Office of Foreign Aid Program Management (€2.61 million).
The National Bank clarifies that securities assets in the reserve asset structure in 2025 amounted to 4.5 billion euros. Total deposits were estimated at 579.3 million euros. Deposits placed with other central banks, the Bank for International Settlements, and the IMF totaled 579.2 million euros. Gold reserves increased to 8.88 million euros (at the end of 2024: 5.98 million euros).
