The total amount of attracted investments amounted to 525,332,800 lei in government bonds with maturities ranging from 1 to 4 years, the Finance Ministry said, summarizing the results of ten rounds of monthly issuance this year.
Only within the last round, held from December 1 to 10, the subscription attracted investments worth 51,514,400 lei. During the ten days of subscription, 717 transactions were made by 566 investors. At the same time, bonds with maturity of 4 years (interest rate 7,35%) accumulated investments worth 6,934,500 lei, realized within 184 deals by 165 investors.
Attractiveness of direct placement through the electronic platform is added by the exemption of investment income from taxation, fixed rate and periodicity of payments.
