The platform was developed by the Agency for Digitalization of Justice and Judicial Administration, subordinate to the Ministry of Justice, together with the Chamber of Notaries.
Until now, notaries used an outdated application, which often caused delays and errors in the execution of orders. The new system works directly from the browser, with authentication via MPass, without additional downloads.
The registry, developed to replace an outdated database created 27 years ago, is characterized by a modern interface, complies with the latest cybersecurity standards and significantly simplifies the work of notaries.
The new registry allows notaries not only to register inheritance deeds and wills, but also to search for information about them or revoke them. The system, linked through MConnect to other state registries, including the State Population Registry, offers IDNP searches, increasing accuracy and reducing the risk of errors.
In doing so, citizens can expect a faster procedure.

Entry into inheritance by heirs of the first turn – 0.3% of the value of the property, but not more than 100 thousand lei. For others, inheritance will cost 0.6% of the value, but not more than one million lei.
