Nisporeni Central Stadium has revitalized the sporting life of local residents
The specialized department accepted applications for participation since the beginning of January. The winner was determined through an open tender.
How much it will cost
From March to December, 12 sporting events will be held in Nisporeni, including a stage of the national motocross championship, national competitions in Olympic wrestling, sports festivals and events dedicated to professional and amateur athletes.
With the status of “Sports Capital”, Nisporeni also implements special programs for the elderly and people with disabilities.
About 2 million lei will be allocated from the budget for the implementation of the project. The funds will be realized within a comprehensive calendar of sports and cultural events for all age categories, with a focus on inclusiveness, participation and sustainable development.
Taking over the baton from Calarasi
The contest “Sport Capital of Moldova” is held for the second year in a row. Last year, the city of Calarasi held this status. The winning city received 1 million lei from the state budget to organize sports events.
The program is aimed at promoting the development of sports at local, regional and national levels, combining during the year competitions and sports events in the locality selected on the basis of an open competition.
