The budget for this purpose for 2025 is 27.1 million lei. A total of 190 million lei is allocated for the implementation of the program over three years, followed by a two-year monitoring period.
According to ODA, the Program offers funding opportunities for two categories of startups:
– for enterprises at early stages of development with a turnover of less than 5 million lei, grants of up to 500 thousand lei are available, with a minimum own contribution of 20%;
– for startups with a turnover of up to 25 million lei, grants of up to 2 million lei are available, provided that the own contribution of at least 50% is made through investments of venture capital funds or crowdfunding service providers.
“Thanks to this program, we support startups that can create high-paying jobs and contribute to Moldova’s own ‘unicorns’ – strong companies that grow fast and compete on international markets. We have the potential, we just need to support it in the right way, “ said Doina Nistor, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization.
“The relaunch of this program was a response to the growing interest from startup founders and the valuable experience gained in previous phases. Now is the right time to bring innovative ideas to life. We invite entrepreneurs to apply. The process is simple, accessible and takes place entirely online through the official ODA platform,” saidVadim Codreanu, Director of ODA.
The program was launched in October 2022, and the second competition was held in November 2023. At the end of the two editions, 31 companies successfully implemented their projects, receiving grants totaling 13.2 million lei. The volume of investments attracted into the economy thanks to this program exceeded 25.2 million lei.
