NBM invites to Global Money Week 2026
According to the NBM, the week’s program includes interactive master classes and daily training sessions, which will allow you to learn directly from the National Bank’s experts how monetary policy decisions are made, what digitalization means in the financial system and what are the basic rules of secure online payments.
The financial education events will start with a public lecture given by Anca Dragu, Governor of the NBM. She will tell young people about the importance of financial responsibility and about the elections that can influence their personal and professional path.
From loan rates to complex investment decisions
“Financial education means understanding what you can do with every penny you earn: saving, investing, knowing when and how to apply for a loan without jeopardizing your financial stability,” she emphasizes. – From basic concepts such as interest rates and credit to complex investment decisions, financial knowledge can make a real difference in everyone’s life. A financially aware younger generation not only manages their own budgets better, but also actively contributes to the development of national economies.”
Also within Global Money Week, excursions to the NBM exhibition hall will be organized, where it will be possible to listen to a brief history of the national currency, to admire the collection of jubilee and commemorative coins made of gold and silver, as well as to learn about the security elements of the Moldovan leu.
