
According to the industry body, the events were held under the auspices of the European Commission and the Directorate General for Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE), bringing together high-level officials from EU member states and partners. The two meetings reviewed infrastructure projects being implemented by member states, discussed the preparation of the EU’s Multiannual Financial Framework and presented future lines of action for the implementation of the European policy on transport networks.
The discussions also covered topics related to rail freight corridors, the high-speed rail network, resilience and adaptation of infrastructure to climate change, as well as aspects related to European defense and the Commission’s White Paper on the ReArm Europe plan.
Nicolai Myndra held discussions with current and future coordinators of the two corridors, during which Moldova’s priorities were outlined in the process of integrating the national transport infrastructure into the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T), which is a strategic objective set out in the Mobility Strategy 2030.
