The Ministry informed the companies operating with standard basic oil products that the authorization to export/re-export fuel and lubricants from the Giurgiulesti International Free Port (GIFP) will be issued only if certain conditions are met. In particular, the stocks of petroleum products stored in the SME must exceed:
– 8,000 tons – gasoline;
– 25,000 tons of diesel fuel.
The General Operator of SMEs is obliged to provide the Customs Service with daily information on stocks of standard oil products stored at the port.
At the same time, gasoline and diesel fuel placed under the regime of release into free circulation (import), temporary storage or customs warehouse cannot be subsequently placed under the regime of export or re-export.
The information message also stresses that in order to ensure continuity of supplies to the domestic market, the Customs Service will apply priority customs clearance of imported oil products along designated corridors in order to optimize trade flows and reduce processing time.
