In the semi-finals, Lisita lost to the Ukrainian Miroslava Vorobei (2:8), which allowed her to compete for one of the two bronze medals of the championship. The protégé of the Moldovan wrestling team coach Andrei Kiperi left no chance for the representative of Finland Anna Hietaniemi in the small final, defeating her with a score of 12:0. Another bronze medalist was the athlete from Turkey Pinar Güngör. Begum Dikici from Turkey became the European champion in the category up to 58 kg, and the vice-champion was Miroslava Vorobei, the offender of the 14-year-old Moldovan athlete.
The representative of Moldova in the weight category up to 50 kg Steffi Mitelya lost a ticket to the semi-finals to the athlete from Azerbaijan Gunel Karimli, losing in the additional qualification round with a score of 4:8. The Moldovan women’s wrestling team took sixth place in the overall standings of the European Youth Championship, in which representatives from 27 countries participated.
