
The Ministry of Education and Research emphasizes that applications were submitted exclusively in an online format, through the platform eadmitere.gov.md.
For the bachelor’s degree program this year, 21,038 applications were submitted from 15,014 candidates. For the Master’s program, 5,328 applications from 4,793 candidates were registered.
The most popular fields of study were: economic sciences, law, health care, engineering and engineering activity, pedagogical sciences, information and communication technologies, social and behavioral sciences, and arts.
Most of the candidates who applied were from Chisinau, Balti, Orhei, ATU Gagauzia, Straseni and Ungheni. The peculiarity of this year’s admission was the presence of candidates of a very solid age: the oldest applicant for the bachelor’s program is 75 years old, and the oldest applicant for the master’s program is 65 years old.
The additional session will be held from August 13 to 15, the ministry reminds. Intermediate results will be announced on August 5 and 20, respectively. The final results of the main session will be released on August 12 and the supplementary session on August 24.
