Insurance medicine will be put in order
In the information resource statement, draft The regulation on the information resource drafted by the Ministry of Health defines the procedure for recording all insured and uninsured persons in the health insurance system, as well as persons registered with family physicians, premiums paid, prescriptions for reimbursed medicines and medical devices, etc.
The aim is to achieve more efficient management of the MHI system, to increase the transparency of the distribution of health insurance funds and to improve the accounting of medical services. According to the document, the MHI IIS will keep records and report on the volume of medical care provided by medical service providers, as well as on their use of financial resources allocated from the compulsory health insurance funds.
In addition, the unified system will ensure compatibility with other registers and information systems. In general, the streamlined system will improve the development of public health policies based on more reliable and up-to-date data oriented to the real needs of the population.
The recipients of IIS MHI data are the National Health Insurance Company, providers of medical and pharmaceutical services.
According to the authors, the implementation of the provisions of the document will contribute to improving the quality of services provided to the population, reducing the time of processing requests and reducing the number of administrative errors.
Modernization of the health insurance information system will not require additional budget expenditures.
