In the past year, the company has carried more than 1.8 million passengers, operated more than 14,000 flights and flown more than 33,000 hours.
The direct flight between Bucharest and New York, which became one of the most popular routes of the company, can be called the discovery of the year. The transatlantic route, which operates with a frequency of four to five flights per week, served more than 40,000 passengers during the year.
In 2026, the company intends to strengthen its position in the transatlantic flights segment by increasing the number of flights to the US. As a result, HiSky will reach six flights per week to the United States, maintaining the Bucharest-New York route, and from June 2026 will open a new direct route Bucharest-Chicago with two flights per week.
As a result, HiSky will operate 27 direct flights from Moldova and Romania with departures from all seven airports in the company’s network: Chisinau, Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara, Oradea, Iasi and Baia Mare.
“We are expanding the segment of long-haul flights, increasing the number of flights to the USA and preparing the next network development projects. We believe that today passengers know what to expect from us and that is very important. We are here to stay and build the business for the long term,” said Julian Skorpan, CEO of HiSky.
