This is stipulated by the agreement within the project “Strong Enterprises and Communities for Moldova”, the signing of which was approved by the cabinet.
The total amount of the grant allocated to Moldova is 1.85 million euros. Another 24 small and medium-sized enterprises will receive up to 1.5 million lei for investments in energy-efficient technologies, renewable energy sources or energy efficiency improvements.
The total budget of the project will amount to 3.68 million euros, of which 1.85 million euros is the grant provided by GIZ and 1.83 million euros is the entrepreneurs’ contribution to the implementation of investment projects. Thus, small and medium-sized enterprises in Moldova will benefit from technological modernization, optimization of internal processes and reduction of energy costs. It is expected that this will contribute to increasing the productivity and competitiveness of the beneficiary enterprises.
