Petrol will rise by 50 bani and will cost 26.72 lei per liter, while diesel fuel will rise by 81 bani to 27.05 lei per liter.

In 15 days, gasoline rose in price by 2.88 lei per liter (+12%), diesel fuel – by 6.18 lei (+29.6%) (compared to March 2 data).

Such high changes in one-time prices have never happened before. However, it should be taken into account that last time ANRE set the maximum prices for three days at once: Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

At the same time, Moldovan Energy Minister Dorin Junghietu urged drivers to use fuel rationally against the backdrop of the tense situation on the global energy market due to the war in the Middle East.

And the main supplier of oil products to Moldova, Romania, today imposed restrictions on fuel exports to stabilize the needs of the domestic market.

At the same time, Romanian drivers continue to come to Moldova in large numbers in order to fill up a full tank, as our gasoline and diesel fuel is still much cheaper than in the neighboring country.
