One of the members of the criminal network was detained at Chisinau International Airport. He was found in possession of 7 thousand euros stolen from a passenger on an Istanbul-Chisinau flight.
As it turned out during the investigation of this incident, this was not an isolated case, but a well-organized criminal network targeting passengers carrying large sums of money.
The criminals were particularly interested in Ukrainian citizens transiting through Moldova.
Now the connections in the group and the ways of interaction are being traced.
