
According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry (MAIA), the largest part of the amount, about 86 million lei, was approved by AIPA for payment for 151 applications for post-investment subsidies (note LP – apparently, as all subsidies of this type requested in 2024-25). Of these funds, almost 9 million lei are related to applications (19 beneficiaries) for actual investments made in irrigation systems and irrigation equipment for irrigation of more than 400 ha.
As of March results, the livestock sector will receive more than 26 million lei for the implemented projects of creation and modernization of 26 livestock farms.
Last month, 21.35 million lei was allocated to support investments in 16 projects of production, processing and sales infrastructure in the crop sector. Another 11.92 million lei from the state budget was earmarked for 40 projects on the development of agricultural production infrastructure.
Within the LEADER program, AIPA approved 38 projects worth 1.22 million lei. This program is focused both on production and social projects in rural areas of Moldova.
According to the law on the state budget for 2026, 2.3 billion lei is reserved for the National Fund for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Areas in Moldova.
