As noted on the ANCD website, the theme of this year’s event is “Artists and Cultural and Creative Professionals in the Spotlight”. It offers opportunities for professional development and international cooperation.
Participation in these initiatives can lead to an ENCATC award for outstanding doctoral research or contribute to participation in the Young and Emerging Researchers Forum (YERF), which provides a platform for doctoral students and researchers to present their research.
The ENCATC Award recognizes research that demonstrates academic rigor and originality, as well as methodological innovation, interdisciplinary approaches and significant impact.
The YERF Forum will take place on September 25, 2026 in Nice and will bring together participants from all over Europe. The Youth in Action 2026 program will also promote skills development and youth engagement in the cultural sector. The program offers an integrated educational pathway within the ENCATC Academy and is implemented in collaboration with international partners, combining interdisciplinary learning, global perspectives and innovation.
Through these initiatives, ENCATC supports the training of a new generation of professionals and contributes to the sustainable development of the cultural sector.
ENCATC is a European network that promotes education, research and professionalization in cultural management and policy. It brings together more than 135 educational organizations and institutes from more than 40 countries (including EU countries as well as Asia, America and other regions).
