Classification of former employment of those employed with the help of the state gives an idea of staff turnover in some spheres of the economy and staff reduction in others. The variation by type of activity is significant.

Of those who found jobs this year, 30% were engaged in collective, public and personal services; 16% were employed in agriculture; 13% worked on construction sites; 12% worked in industrial enterprises; 11% worked in trade; 5% held positions in public administration; 4% in health care and social assistance; 4% in education; 2% worked in logistics: transportation, warehousing and communications, etc.

Commenting on the successes of the subordinate institution, the Minister of Labor and Social Protection Alexey Buzu said:

“The National Employment Agency continues to work at full capacity to offer jobseekers the best and most suitable options. This year we aim to cover even more people, to offer our citizens more social protection,” the Minister said.

It should be recalled that in 2024, the Employment Agency of Moldova helped 16,699 people to find a job. This is about 25 percent of the registered unemployed who were employed through the territorial employment units. The best result of the reform of the Employment Agency is expected already at the end of this year.
