Gasoline will rise by 41 bani and will cost 28.88 lei per liter, while diesel fuel will rise by 60 bani to 29.81 lei per liter.
More and more countries in Europe are introducing anti-crisis measures due to rising fuel prices. Romania is preparing to join them.
They are preparing to take a number of actions to soften the blow to businesses and citizens.
These include:
– Limiting the trade markup on gasoline, diesel and raw materials along the entire supply chain;
– imposing restrictions on exports outside the EU and intra-EU fuel supplies (only with the authorization of the authorities);
– removing the requirement of at least 8% biofuel content in gasoline to reduce the final price.
In addition, the relevant ministries together with the Competition Council will constantly monitor the situation on the market and, if necessary, propose additional measures.
According to the Romanian government, the measures will be valid for six months with the possibility of extension.
The Moldovan government has not yet reacted in any way to the global energy crisis.
