
Gasoline will rise by 16 bani and will cost 29.04 lei per liter, while diesel fuel will rise by 37 bani to 30.18 lei per liter.
Yesterday, the country’s President Maia Sandu made a statement at a press conference that the Moldovan authorities should prepare for the most unfavorable scenarios against the background of rising fuel prices.
And she promised that in the coming days the government will analyze possible measures to support the economy, adding that it will not be possible to fully compensate for the losses caused by the crisis.
Today, Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu said that a government meeting has been convened at 13:00 to propose a state of emergency in the energy sector for 60 days.
