The monthly subscription schedule will be maintained and will start on January 12, providing direct access to “reliable investment opportunities, purchases of government securities without intermediaries and trading without commissions”. During these sessions, citizens will be able to choose bonds with maturities of 1, 2, 3 or 4 years.
In 2025, 10 subscriptions for bonds with maturities from 1 to 4 years were conducted through the eVMS.md platform. The total amount of funds raised from the population, as reported by the Ministry of Finance, amounted to more than 525 million lei. A total of 2,131 persons acted as investors.
At the end of November, the state domestic debt at nominal value increased by 5,586.28 million lei compared to the beginning of the year and amounted to 49,547.46 million lei.
The changes in the size of the internal state debt occurred due to the increase in the issuance of SS on the primary market in the amount of 6,558.26 million lei at nominal value, the issuance of SS through the electronic platform eVMS.md in the amount of 473.82 million lei, as well as due to the redemption of converted SS in the amount of 1,085.79 million lei and the redemption of SS issued for certain purposes established by law in the amount of 360.0 million lei.
Thus, the domestic public debt increased by 870 million lei in November, being the only reason for the increase in the state’s total debt. The total state debt reached 129.1 billion lei as of November 30, 2025, against 128.6 billion lei in October.
