
This is the amount of investments at the stage of establishment of the stock exchange in Chisinau. The shareholders do not exclude the possibility of further participation in operations to increase the authorized capital up to the equivalent of 200,000 euros.
The signing ceremony of the memorandum of partnership between the Bucharest Stock Exchange and other shareholders of the new stock exchange in Chisinau took place on September 15.
The total authorized capital of the second Moldovan stock exchange is set at 3 million euros.
Along with BVB, other shareholders will be maib, Moldova’s largest credit institution, OTP Moldova, Mikro Kapital, an international microfinance fund, Moldcell, one of the largest mobile operators in Moldova, the State Property Agency and the Moldovan insurance company Donaris VIG.
The launch of the new stock exchange in Chisinau is scheduled for the summer of 2026.
