
A draft decision containing a list of basic public services for businesses and an action plan for their digitalization has been developed by the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization in cooperation with the Economic Council under the Prime Minister.
According to the authors of the document, the digitalization of public services will provide entrepreneurs, the diaspora and foreign investors with the possibility to carry out economic activities in Moldova online.
The list includes five areas, covering 16 services provided by the State Services Agency, the State Tax Service, payment service providers, the National Bureau of Statistics, local public administration authorities, etc. The list of service providers includes five areas, covering 16 services. In addition, the list of service providers includes the General Inspectorate for Migration, the Information and Security Service, trust service providers, the National Bank of Moldova, the Ministry of Justice, public notaries and the Real Estate Cadastre.
The Action Plan envisages, apart from the digitization of services, which is planned until the end of 2026, the translation into English of the national regulations in force regarding business registration and amendments to constituent documents.
It also includes the development of an electronic service for making changes to the State Register of Legal Units (RSUD), preparation of guidelines for the application of the electronic service “Registration of Immovable Property”, etc.
