The National Food Safety Authority (ANSA) is recalling new requirements that go into effect on January 1, 2026.
The documents must contain information on the status as of December 31 of the previous year, namely how much beer and beer-based beverages were produced; how much was sold in bulk; and what varieties were produced.
Violation of the submission deadlines may entail administrative liability.
The requirement to prepare and submit an annual declaration on beer production and/or turnover of beer and beer-based beverages was introduced by the government in April 2025 and came into force earlier this year.
ANSA also informs businesses involved in the production and turnover of ethyl alcohol and alcoholic beverages that, in accordance with the previously established rules, they too are required to file a Declaration on the production and turnover of ethyl alcohol, distillates of vegetable origin and alcoholic beverages.
