This year, the list of trophies of Moldovan winemakers included one Big Gold Medal, the highest award of the competition, 75 gold and 43 silver medals. 33 wineries from the Republic of Moldova participated in the forum with the support of the National Directorate of Viticulture and Winemaking.
In the press release of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry of MAIA it is mentioned that “participation in this contest contributes to the increase of Moldovan wines’ recognition on foreign markets and to the international recognition of their quality. The awards received confirm the constant efforts of producers to invest in quality, identity and competitiveness”.
