As the U.S. Embassy in Moldova notes, the 250th anniversary is “an important historical milestone that symbolizes the strength and resilience of the nation”. In honor of the anniversary, America House in Moldova is launching the “50 States in 50 Weeks” campaign. The project will run for the whole year.
“Each week we will tell the story of one state: its entry into the Union, its geographic location and the features that make it unique – from the 13 original colonies to the 50th state,” the Embassy specifies.
The Embassy invites all Moldovans to follow the updates of the program America House in Moldova and join the weekly presentations.
