The only goal was scored by 15-year-old Agarista player Polina Mazur in the 32nd minute of the match. The triumphants spent most of the match in the minority after Cristina Mustiatse was sent off for a second yellow card in the 42nd minute of the match.
The victory allowed the club from Anenii Noi to make a golden double at the end of the season – in the beginning of May, Alexander Verjovkin’s wards sealed the championship in the National Women’s League four rounds before the end of the tournament.
The final match of the Moldovan Women’s Cup took place at the city stadium in Nisporeni. The final was officiated by a team of referees headed by Oksana Cruc. According to the results of the meeting, Agarista won the trophy for the seventh time. Since 2018, only once the Cup did not go to Anenii Noi – in 2021, the club “Narta” (Dresliceni village, Criuleni district) defeated “Maksimum” (Cahul) 2:1 in the final.
At the awarding ceremony, the cup and medals were presented to the winners and silver medalists by the technical director of the Moldovan Football Federation, Danut Stelian Oprea, and the president of the Women’s Football League, Diana Bulgaru.
