
According to the company’s annual financial statements, last year the company increased its sales revenues by 18.5% – from 135.57 million lei to 160.61 million lei, while the cost of sales increased by 11.3% – from 57.75 million lei to 64.27 million lei. Distribution expenses rose by 24.6% year-on-year, to 78.87 million lei, while administrative expenses increased by 13.1%, to 13.46 million lei.
The company’s long-term assets increased during the year by 5.5%, to 73.51 million lei, while the current assets increased by 28.8%, to 175.58 million lei. The authorized capital of Viorica Cosmetic JSC at the end of 2024 amounted to 118.5 million lei, unchanged compared to 2023.
The company’s shareholders are 16 persons.
It should be noted that Viorica Cosmetic is the largest producer of perfumes and cosmetics in Moldova. The factory was established in 1980 on the model of the French factory Christian Dior, and since 1989 it launched a new production. In 2012 it was privatized by the DAAC Hermes Group holding.
The new investor updated the company’s product lines, purchased new German and Spanish-made equipment, expanded the R&D department and refurbished the factory’s laboratories.
In 2016, the company started to develop its own eco-plantation VioPark, where dozens of plant species are grown according to the principles of organic farming, which are then used as raw materials for the production of Viorica cosmetics. Today Viorica Cosmetic produces pure cosmetics based on plant raw materials, completely abandoning the use of harmful components.
The company produces more than 200 items of goods: perfumes, toilet water, colognes, creams, shampoos, liquid soaps, hair care products, etc. The company produces a wide range of products.
