Guests of the event had the opportunity to taste more than 700 wines, including 55 new wines presented by 72 winemakers.
At the same time, the current event was a special opportunity for the whole industry to celebrate the achievements recorded during the year, which have given Moldovan wine a significant international reputation.
Traditionally, visitors expressed their preferences through a specially created digital platform, awarding points to the wines tasted. The products that received the most votes from the public were awarded prizes.
In the Red Wine category, Red Blend 1952 from Cricova winery was recognized as the best.
Among sparkling wines, Cuvée des Fleurs, produced by Mileștii Mici Quality Winery, took first place.
The best of the Divins was Divin 7 ani, a 7-year old drink from Ialoveni winery – Divin 7 ani.
“This year was full of challenges, but also of outstanding achievements. In 2025, Moldova was at the center of international attention. We hosted the most important scientific forum: the 46th OIV World Congress, which was an absolute premiere for our country. This year, our country also hosted the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, an event dedicated to sparkling wines, which strengthened Moldova’s position on the sparkling wine market. These are two moments of historical importance, which showed us that Moldovan winemaking is a mature, respected and internationally recognized player”, said Stefan Yamandi, Director of the National Bureau of Viticulture and Winemaking.
