“Sources familiar with the topic said that the US military is ready to strike Iran as early as this weekend, but Trump has not made a final decision on whether to give the go-ahead for such an action,” the channel notes.
CNN recalls that on Wednesday the White House held a meeting on the situation in Iran. Also Trump was informed about the results of the negotiations between the United States and Iran in Geneva.
As a result, the administration was informed about the readiness of the U.S. Armed Forces for the operation as early as this weekend, after a significant build-up of the Air Force and Navy in the region.
However, a TV channel interlocutor warned that in private conversations Trump makes arguments both in favor and against the operation, and also asks his advisers for their opinions on the optimal future course.
