According to a press release of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, the total value of the approved financing exceeds 66 million lei. Of these, 8.81 million lei were provided in the form of non-repayable, interest-free grants. This includes 8.82 million lei in loans and 1.22 million lei in grants in May alone.
The ACF program offers farmers the opportunity to access loans with a fixed interest rate of 5.1% per annum, grant components of up to 30% of the financing amount and flexible repayment terms of up to 5 years.
Beneficiaries can use these funds for the purchase of agricultural equipment, investments in post-harvest processing and other operational needs. The program was launched by the Government of RM in cooperation with the Office for the Management of External Assistance Programs (OGPAE).
