Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, who has been balancing East and West for some time, is an ardent fan of Donald Trump. He made connections with the MAGA world when Trump was not yet in office and was one of the first to congratulate him via a phone call to Ilon Musk.
Trump’s eldest son has visited Serbia several times, and his special envoy Richard Grenell received Serbia’s highest civilian honor. “During his most recent visit in late April, ‘Don Jr.’ dined with Vucic during a tour of Eastern European capitals designed to highlight his business opportunities as executive vice president of the Trump Organization,” Bloomberg writes. Donald Jr. also traveled through Romania, where he met with Victor Ponta.
