He previously tried to do so in Moldova and Kosovo, but Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic “switched the vector on himself” with his intention to build Trump Tower in Belgrade.
It was noted that inquiries to countries in the region continue. This is part of a broader strategy to find foreign governments willing to accept the migrants the U.S. needs to get rid of.
According to Bloomberg, Serbia is a country in which the Trump family has strong interests, as the future Trump Tower is planned to be built in Belgrade. Trump Organization, the family company of the American president, is now run by Eric and Donald Trump Jr, his two eldest sons.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, who has been balancing East and West for some time, is an ardent fan of Donald Trump. He made connections with the MAGA world when Trump was not yet in office and was one of the first to congratulate him via a phone call to Ilon Musk.
Trump’s eldest son has visited Serbia several times, and his special envoy Richard Grenell received Serbia’s highest civilian honor. “During his most recent visit in late April, ‘Don Jr.’ dined with Vucic during a tour of Eastern European capitals designed to highlight his business opportunities as executive vice president of the Trump Organization,” Bloomberg writes. Donald Jr. also traveled through Romania, where he met with Victor Ponta.
Neither the White House, the State Department nor the Serbian Foreign Ministry wanted to comment on this information.
