
Until March 31, 2026, carriers were given time to adapt. During this period, there were technical errors in the completion of the electronic road logbook, which could be indicated in the section “Special Observations” (Observații Speciale).
This phase has now been completed. The regulatory authorities will sanction any infringements of the data filling rules. The National Road Transport Agency emphasizes that the responsibility for the correctness of the information lies entirely with the transporters and all data must correspond exactly to the actual transportation.
SD CEMT authorizations are distributed automatically through the digital platform “e-Autorizație transport” (e-Autorizație transport), without the involvement of the human factor. Nevertheless, the agency reminds that corruption and irregularities can be reported through special anti-corruption lines.
As a reminder, the CEMT (ECMT) gives the carrier the right for a certain period to carry out international freight transport between the member countries of the European Conference of Ministers of Transport (ECMT) without issuing separate permits for each trip. We are talking about more than 50 countries.
