The “Zamca” tender has fallen through

The only offer for the creation of the eco-tourist route "Zamca" in the north of Moldova exceeded the budget by almost 2 million lei, and the tender had to be announced anew, - reports Logos Press.

The “Zamca” tender has fallen through

According to the Regional Development Agency (RDA) Sever, only one offer was submitted for the tender for the project “Improvement of the eco-tourist route “Zamca” near the Prut River, Pererita village, Briceni district”. It was submitted by the company DSI Construct Grup SRL, which offered a cost of 22,756,601.52 lei, VAT excluded, which exceeds the budget of 20,919,580 lei, VAT excluded, allocated for the project.

After the annulment, the procedure of procuring the contractor’s services was re-announced. Proposals under the new tender will be accepted until December 29, 2025.

The project is aimed at creating and developing tourist services in the natural zone of “Zamca” through the development of infrastructure for accommodation and recreation. The planned works include: construction of gazebos, a barbecue area, an administrative building with security and kitchen, a water treatment station, a mini-hotel for 50 beds, sports and children’s playgrounds, a parking lot and improvement of the spring.

The works are financed by the Government of Moldova through the National Fund for Regional and Local Development, co-financed by Briceni District Council, and implemented by RDA North.
