According to the Finance Ministry’s report on the fulfillment of the national public budget components in 2025, last year’s revenues were 14.8 per cent higher (6,356.3 million lei) compared to the figure for 2024.
At the same time, the social insurance fund’s own revenues amounted to 28,958.4 million lei. This is by 13.2% (3,384.4 million lei) more compared to the previous year’s revenues.
And transfers from the state budget reached almost half of the revenue part – 20,244.0 million lei, up 17.2% (2,971.9 million lei) compared to 2024.
The item of budgetary expenditures and non-financial assets was executed last year in the amount of 49,079.6 million lei. This is by 14.9% (6,357.0 million lei) more compared to the figure for 2024.
The execution of the state social insurance budget for the end of 2025 ended with a surplus of 122.8 million lei.
