The works started with the sites near three educational institutions – the Cooperative Commerce University of Moldova, the Center of Excellence in Business Administration and the Center of Technical Creativity for Children and Adolescents “Polytechnic”.
The works include the dismantling of worn-out asphalt pavement and tiles, installation of curbs and new grids on storm drains, arrangement of crosswalks, modernization of the street lighting system, arrangement of green areas and installation of urban furniture. The stairs and parapets on the territory adjacent to the Cooperative and Commercial University of Moldova and the pavilion at the public transport stop will also be repaired.
The project of renewal of the sidewalk on Iurie Gagarin Boulevard includes several stages of works aimed at improving the urban infrastructure and ensuring greater comfort for the citizens.
In general, the budget of Chisinau for 2025 includes. 160 million lei for the renovation of sidewalks and improvement of territories near the historical center of the city.
