These improvements were made possible from June 2, 2025 with the launch of an upgraded version of the Certificates of Origin Information System integrated into the ASYCUDA World platform.
The new version enables application submission, transmission, analysis and digital archiving of all documents, which significantly contributes to the reduction of processing time, administrative burden and risk of errors. Applications are submitted exclusively electronically, without the need to submit supporting documents in hard copy.
The change will directly benefit economic operators. The complete elimination of physical documents and the comprehensive digitalization of the process provide immediate access to the necessary information and allow real-time tracking of the status of applications. Thus, the new system directly meets the requirements of the business environment by offering a modern technological solution focused on efficiency and predictability.
The modernization is part of the strategic objective to fully digitalize the issuance of certificates of origin in accordance with the “Technological norms for digitalization of the issuance of certificates of preferential origin” approved at the national level.
