Gasoline will decrease in price by 8 bani and will cost 29.77 lei per liter, while diesel fuel will increase in price by 58 bani – to 33.00 lei per liter.
Thus, the price of diesel fuel broke the record that was set in July 2022 – 32.46 lei per liter.
It should be recalled that that year, the inflation rate reached record levels, amounting to 30.24% at the end of the year, which was more than twice as high as in 2021 (13.94%). The main increase in prices was caused by the rise in the price of energy and, as a consequence, food products, with the maximum annual inflation was recorded in October – 34.62%.
