The movie is a multi-part political thriller based on the realities of the 1990s. It touches on the struggle for power, corruption, betrayal, the search for justice and the assertion of personal dignity in a changing society.
The film encourages critical reflection on a defining era in the history of modern Moldova. Understanding how past experiences influence current behavior and decisions.
The project involved more than 150 actors, hundreds of extras and technicians from the country and the diaspora. Filming took place in numerous scenic locations in Moldova and abroad, many of which were used for the first time in a movie. Thus, the film also became a powerful tool to popularize the natural and architectural heritage of the country.
Acquisition of the rights for non-commercial broadcasting of the film will allow it to be used in events, public campaigns and initiatives to promote culture both in the country and abroad. This is stipulated by law and is in line with the Ministry of Culture’s goal to promote the creative industry and Moldova’s image, including as a filming location.
