The project was initiated by Nicoleta and Alexandru Mania, who have experience in the luxury real estate segment gained in Bucharest.

It is a project that promises to change the rules of the game on the Romanian coast. The persistent perception that vacations on the Romanian coast are budget and low-service may soon change.

“We have done our homework, but our international partners have also done clear research and analysis. It was a mutual validation process – and the conclusion was simple: Constanta needs a five-star hotel open 12 months a year” – states Nicoleta Mania.

Located in Mamaia, the hotel will include not only luxurious rooms and services, but also the largest conference hall in the area – with a capacity of 700 people. As well as a 900-square-meter balneological spa designed for permanent operation, regardless of the season. The buildings will be built on the shores of Lake Sutgiol, in a quiet neighborhood, with access to spectacular sunsets and privacy rarely found in a resort. The project will also include large terraces, and a private marina will also appear in the coming ones.

The calculations for the new hotel were also based on the fact that the Radisson Blu in Bucharest has an occupancy rate of more than 80%, mainly due to the business segment.

“We wanted to replicate this synergy between leisure and business in Constanta to offer a full range of services – with spa, conferences, events, relaxation,” says Nicoleta Mania.
