The State Property Agency (SPA) held a public auction on July 22, which resulted in more than 55 million lei for the budget, Logos Press reported.

The complex on Gagarin St. was sold at auction for 55 million lei

According to an ASG news release, 21 lots were auctioned off under the hammer and 7 lots were auctioned off in a down auction.

According to the results of the public auction, “The property complex consisting of a building of 1992.0 square meters and a land plot of 0.2537 hectares, located in Chisinau, 10 Iurie Gagarin Avenue” was sold. Its initial price was set at 23.4 million lei, but during the auction it increased more than twice – up to 55.1 million lei.

The auction step set by the commission was 15%.

According to the Regulation on auctions, approved by Government Decision No. 136/2009, the winner is obliged to pay the price of the acquired property within 20 days from the day of signing the protocol on the auction results. And then, within 7 days, a sale and purchase agreement must be concluded between the Public Property Agency and the buyer.

In addition, the winner of the auction pays a private tax to the state budget in the amount of 1% of the value of the acquired property (total – 550, 9 thousand lei).

At the same time, according to the State Property Agency, no applications for participation in the auction for reduction were registered.
