Two Moldovan tennis players also take part in the tournament: Radu Albot (seeded No. 4) and Ilia Snitari (received Wild Cart from the organizers). Another representative of our country – Andrei Gorban – dropped out of the tournament in qualification, losing to the representative of Great Britain Gile Hussey with the score 1:6, 1:6.
The opponent of Radu Albot in the first round match will be Lithuanian tennis player Ricardas Berankis. The meeting will take place on May 27 in the morning. In turn, Ilya Snitsar will find out his opponent tonight, when the final qualifying matches will be held.
The Moldova Open 2025 tournament takes place on the courts of Arena Chișinău, where the awarding ceremony will be held on June 1.
The tournament is organized by the National Tennis Federation of Moldova with the support of the Ministry of Education and Research.
