
The relevant draft was developed by the Ministry of Finance and reviewed at a meeting of the secretaries general of all ministries. Now it is to be approved by the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to the draft, for workers with a severe degree of disability, who are not employed in specialized enterprises, the subsidy will amount to 100% of the taxes paid on their salaries, but not more than 2420 lei per month (now 2000 lei). For workers with pronounced degree – 50% of the taxes paid, but not more than 1210 lei per month (now – 1000 lei).
For people with disabilities working in specialized enterprises, the subsidy will amount to 300% of the amount of taxes paid in case of severe degree of disability, but not more than 7260 lei per month (+1260 lei). For workers with a pronounced degree of health limitation, the subsidy will amount to 260%, but not more than 6295 lei instead of 5200 lei (+1095 lei), and for workers with a moderate degree of limitation – 230%, but not more than 5570 lei (+970 lei).
According to the authors of the draft law, the current subsidy limits do not reflect the growth of salaries and social contributions, which reduces the effectiveness of the program.
