In July, a number of companies from these areas were selected whose activities revealed risks of tax unfairness. During 12 months they will be under special monitoring by the tax service. Monitoring represents contacts with taxpayers, sending letters and notices, holding consultation meetings, tax visits and inspection of declared units.
The agency emphasizes that all measures are purely informational and advisory in nature, aimed at preventing possible violations and give taxpayers time to eliminate identified risks.
“We are convinced that only through transparent relations, trust, mutual respect and constant dialog with conscientious taxpayers will it be possible to achieve strategic goals and increase the satisfaction of citizens in interaction with the tax service”, – said the head of the Communication Service of the STS Adrian Platon.
