As specified in the information of the tax authority, the competition is open to economic agents registered in Moldova, which have a trade network, as well as production or storage facilities. In this round, it is possible to purchase cars, cell phones, electrical equipment and other goods.
In 2025, the STS was transferred the functions of accounting, valuation and sale of confiscated, ownerless, seized perishable or limited shelf life goods, as well as substances and treasures that have passed into the ownership of the state by right of inheritance. The Tax Service was given the opportunity to sell them directly, as well as to realize them through commission trade and discount auctions. Previously, this was handled by the Customs Service.
The regulatory framework establishes a clear time frame for the revaluation of goods – every 30 working days with the possibility of reducing the price by 20%. If the goods cannot be sold within 150 working days, they will be put up for auction with a price reduction of up to 50% of the last valuation.
On the official website of the State Tax Service in the specialized section of the same name, information on the stocks of confiscated goods offered for sale to business entities is constantly posted and updated. There one can also familiarize oneself with detailed announcements indicating the name of the goods, characteristics, quantity and prices, as well as their photos.
The competition will be held on October 31, 2025 at 11:00 am at the office of the tax authority.
