The Disciplinary Commission of the Moldovan Football Federation (FMF) decided to impose a fine of 10,000 lei on Zimbru for the fact that fans of the capital club lit two smoke bombs on the stands of the city stadium in Orhei at the end of the match against local Milsami. “The Bisons won the away match with a score of 3:0.

Earlier Logos Press reported about the largest fine in the season, imposed on Zimbru as a result of the analysis of the match of the 13th round with Sherif (2:0). Then the club’s budget was depleted by 35 thousand lei.

The FMF’s attention in the 15th round was also drawn to the match between Politehnica-UTM and Sheriff (1:2). The starting whistle in the second half sounded later than planned, because a dog ran onto the pitch. As the stadium in Suruceni of Ialoveni district is the home stadium for Politehnica-UTM this season, the club received a warning from the FMF for this incident.

At the end of the game, the Sheriff players damaged the shower in the guest locker room. The shower headset was damaged and the Tiraspol team was obliged to reimburse the costs of its repair.

Because of the national team matches, the Super League had a break last weekend. After 15 rounds, Sheriff retains its leadership (see the standings). Denis Kozlovski (“Zimbru”) and Petru Popescu (“Petrocub”), who scored eight goals each in the season, lead the scorers’ rating. Sheriff’s Albanian international Amarildo Gioni completes the top three with seven goals.

There are six rounds left before the end of the first phase of the Super League. The final round will be held on November 30, after which the clubs will go on winter break. The top six teams will continue in the spring stage of the Super League, while the remaining two will compete for a return to the elite with the top four clubs in Ligue 1.
