
The clubs will receive funds for the seasons 2023/2024 and 2024/2025. As part of the FMF decision, 6 Superleague clubs – Milsami, Zimbru, CSF Bălți. “Dacia-Buiucani”, FC “Florești”, “Spartanii-Sportul” – will be allocated €594,028. Sheriff Tiraspol will receive €399,500, while the reigning champion Petrocub will receive €194,528.
Ligue 1 clubs – Saxan, Speranța Drochia, Victoria, FC Stăuceni, FC Ungheni, Olimp, Speranis, Univer, FC Fălești, Vulturii Cutezători and Iskra from Ribnita – will receive €66,709 each.
Every year, UEFA allocates funds from the Sports Solidarity Fund, primarily for clubs that have not participated in European competitions. In turn, UEFA obliges clubs to invest in projects for the development of soccer schools/academies (player training, infrastructure, equipment). UEFA’s total payments to non-Eurocup clubs have increased over 20 years from €32.9 million (in 1999) to €172.2 million (in 2022 – more recent figures have not yet been made public).
