The Parliamentary Commission on Foreign Policy approved the advisory opinion on the signing of a grant agreement between the Organization for the Development of Entrepreneurship (ODA) and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).
The grant will co-finance investments made by at least 24 micro, small and medium enterprises in energy efficient technologies. The companies will invest in new equipment, modernize or replace existing technologies and implement renewable energy solutions. These measures are aimed at reducing emissions, optimizing resource consumption and generating long-term environmental benefits.
Once the agreement is ratified, ODA will be able to use the funds to implement the Strong Businesses and Communities for Moldova project, which runs from December 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026.
The grant agreement between ODA and GIZ must be ratified by Parliament to enter into force.
