According to the capital’s mayor’s office, the machine will be used for efficient waste compaction. The compactor was purchased from the German company BOMAG FAYAT GROUP GmbH, a world leader in waste management equipment technology.
The new equipment is necessary and complements the existing technical equipment of the municipal utility company, along with the compactor purchased in 2020.
The total value of the investment amounts to 11 million 736 thousand lei (VAT inclusive) and is fully financed from the own funds of MP Autosalubritate.
These investments are in addition to other equipment purchased by Chisinau City Hall and MP Autosalubritate, including: a modern excavator, a car elevator, a forklift, a double cab pickup truck, 2 dump trucks and a multi-purpose tractor.
