The demand for quality Internet is growing in Moldova. People are increasingly using the Web for study, work and online services, and to keep up, the communications infrastructure needs to develop rapidly.
So far, the installation of these access points has been hampered by a lack of clear rules, which has slowed down network development and increased costs for providers. As a result, quality digital services for citizens have been delayed.
The approved regulation aims to address these problems by simplifying the installation process, making it faster and cheaper; protecting human health and the environment; Expanding access to quality Internet for all; and making better use of available radio frequencies.
This decision is part of the government’s plan to harmonize our country’s legislation with European Union standards and to create a modern and secure digital infrastructure for all citizens.
